There has long been an Oil mill on the site where Los Albardinales now stands in Almeria. The old factory was built at 1925 and was working until 1970’s when failed and was abandoned.
In 1996 was bought by restauranteur Rafael Alonso, who restored the main building for the museum and restaurant and kept the garden as an entrace to the modern Oil Mill. It took almost ten years to finish the job and in 1998 has born his name ever since.
At Los Albardinales today we seek to maintain the heritage of the old architecture of the Almeria’s Desert and combine it with Olive Oil’s production throughtout the history. Its character is unique in Almeria.
